Teaching activities: Undergraduate: Plant anatomy and cytology Postgraduate: Scientific methods(BSc Hons) Anatomical studies of the Apiaceae, Fabaceae, biotechnologically modified plants and Karoo medicinal plants. Research activities: 1. Current research is concentrated on the family Apiaceae with special emphasis on the contribution of anatomy in exploring relationships in the family. 2. Other research interests include the classification of Canthium, Keetia and Psydrax (Rubiaceae) in southern Africa, and the anatomy of extrafloral nectaries.
