Prof Gumbo holds a PhD from Stellenbosch University, South Africa, masters and honours degrees from the University of Zimbabwe in Rural and Urban Planning. He has published in a wide range of research areas that include smart and sustainable cities and regions, intelligent transport systems & infrastructure planning, integrated and sustainable human settlements, spatial analysis using geographical information systems to statistical analysis using statistical package for social sciences. 1.
