Prof Gulshan Sharma

Overview

Academic Profile Gulshan Sharma is presently working as Associate Professor in Department of Electrical Engineering Technology, University of Johannesburg, South Africa. He has more than 17 years of Teaching and Research Experience. He has the qualifications of B. Tech, M. Tech and Ph.D. He was a post-doctoral research fellow at Faculty of EBIT in University of Pretoria from 2015 to 2016. He is a Y rated researcher from National Research Foundation (NRF) of South Africa and registered member of Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA). He is working as Academic Editor of International Transactions on Electrical Energy System Journal, Hindawi and Academic Editor of Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Hindawi. Earlier, he was with Durban University of Technology as Senior Lecturer in the Department of Electrical Power Engineering. He acts as Departmental Research Committee (DRC) Chair and Faculty Research Committee (FRC) Representative at Durban University of Technology. He has published several research papers in international journals & conferences and has been continuously engaged in guiding research activities at graduate/post-graduate and Ph.D. levels.
