Overview

Ms. Dipuo Thaga Western TVET College(WESTCOL): Academic and Curriculum Support Bachelor of Technology (Management) Diploma: Human Resources Management Senior Teacher’s Diploma Assessor Moderator Ms Dipuo has been in the Technical Vocational Education and Training Industry for over two decades. She is passionate about changing the life of the young adults by way of supporting and encouraging them to achieve skill or qualifications that will enable them to compete in the world of work and be employable or self-employed. Through training; teaching and management opportunities, she has acquired key skills which enabled her to take leadership roles in Education. In her current role at the Western TVET College, she is instrumental in the promotion of work integrated learning programmes, where she established partnerships with external stakeholders, including international key players, for the purpose of students’ placement and experiential learning. She is passionate about sourcing funding solutions from SETAs to ensure that the students that need experiential learning are funded for the period required. She prides herself in being a good problem solver; a development coach, mentor and communicator. Ms Dipuo brings to Management Committee in-depth knowledge and vast experience of the South African – Further Education Landscape and looks forward to making a difference to the sector.
