Dr. Sergio Peral holds a PhD in Industrial Psychology from the University of Johannesburg (2019). Dr. Peral has an excellent academic record, obtaining his Honours and Masters degrees Cum Laude, and received the Department's Top achiever award twice (in 2014 and 2015). He has recently completed his internship and passed the HPCSA's professional board examination, qualifying as an Industrial Psychologist. He consults on a part-time basis. Dr. Peral has taught on undergrad level during his PhD studies, and will be teaching on the online BHRM programme in 2021. His teaching style has been commended by students. As a young researcher, he has already published three articles in accredited journals of which one is a reputable international journal. Dr. Peral has supervised students on the Honours and Masters levels.
