Dr Mosa Nontsikelelo Khasu

Overview

Dr. Mosa Nontsikelelo Khasu is a lecturer in African Language Teaching within the Department of Childhood Education at the University of Johannesburg (CALT@UJ). She began her career as a Foundation Phase teacher at the university-affiliated Funda UJabule School (2015–2017), before transitioning into academia as an Assistant Lecturer in 2018 and later as a Lecturer. She completed a B.Ed. foundation phase degree (cum laude), B.Ed. honours degree, a master’s degree in childhood education (cum laude), and a PhD in childhood education from the University of Johannesburg. Dr. Khasu teaches Sesotho and research methodology in the undergraduate B.Ed. foundation and intermediate phase programmes, on the Soweto campus, and supervises Honours and Master’s students whose research focuses on African language teaching.
