Dr Daphney Mawila is a senior lecturer in the Department of Educational Psychology, Faculty of Education at the University of Johannesburg (UJ). She obtained her D Ed in Educational Psychology from the University of Johannesburg. Dr Daphney Mawila is an Educational Psychologist and registered with the Health Professional Council of South Africa (HPCSA). She is the co-ordinator of the M Ed Educational Psychology Programme. She is also a clinical and research supervisor in the M Ed Educational Psychology Programme. Her research niche includes risk and resilience factors, neurodiversity, and Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC). She published a number of articles in both national and international journals.
