Dr Beniamin Knutsson

Overview

Bio Beniamin Knutsson is a visiting research fellow at CERT. He also holds a position as Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer in the Department of Pedagogical, Curricular and Professional Studies at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. Concerned with issues of power and inequality, Beniamin's research focuses mainly on education, sustainable development and international aid. His work is informed by post-foundational political thought and theory on biopolitics/governmentality. He is currently exploring the implementation of the Global Action Programme on Education for Sustainable Development (GAP) in South Africa through a biopolitical lens.
