Marlize Rostoll, was born in Johannesburg, Gauteng. After matriculating with 5 distinctions in 2003, she obtained the LLB degree in 2007 from the University of Johannesburg. She completed her articles of clerkship at Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr and was admitted as an attorney in 2010. She completed her LLM degree in Commercial Law at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2011. Since then she has been lecturing in the Faculty of Law in various Commercial Law modules, including first-year modules, and is responsible for Capita Selecta: Private Law on final-year level.
