Prof Roxan Laubscher (Venter) is a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Law at the University of Johannesburg. She joined the faculty in 2011. She holds Bachelor degrees in Commerce and Law, as well as a master’s degree and a doctorate in Constitutional Law from the University of Johannesburg. She joined the Faculty of Law in 2011, lecturing Constitutional and Human Rights Law to second year LLB students. She is a member of the editorial board of the UJ Law Faculty’s journal, the Tydskrif vir die Suid-Afrikaanse Reg/Journal of South African Law. She has presented papers at various local and international conferences and publishes widely on topics in constitutional and human rights law. Her research focuses on structural constitutional law, parliamentary practice and human rights issues. She is also a member of the International Society of Public Law (ICON-S). List of Publications
