Academic Profile Supervisor, researcher, Senior Lecturer Qualification(s) D.Ing (Mechanical) Research Interests Engineering Management, Mechanical Engineering, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Environmental Heat Transfer Biography Sunita obtained her B.Ing (Mechanical) degree from Rand Afrikaans University in 2003 and completed her M.Ing (Mechanical) Cum Laude at the University of Johannesburg in 2006. She joined Clyde Bergemann Africa in 2004 as a Candidate Engineer. She was primarily involved in bulk materials handling and boiler online cleaning technology. She joined the University of Johannesburg in 2005. She also lectured for a brief period at the University of Pretoria. Sunita joined the Johannesburg again in 2009, where she has since been lecturing third- and fourth-year students, and supervised numerous Design and Project Investigation dissertations, as well as Master’s students. She has obtained her D.Ing (Mechanical) degree in 2016, where the focus was on heat transfer in commercial greenhouses. She joined the Postgraduate School of Engineering Management in July 2024.
