Research Interests Mineral Processing , Hydrometallurgy and Non - Ferrous metallurgy (Gold and PGMs). Pyrometallurgy Qualification : PhD Extraction Metallurgy Biography Willie Nheta (PhD Extraction Metallurgy) completed Bsc Honors degree in Engineering: Extraction Metallurgy at University of Zimbabwe in 1999. He was awarded a scholarship for Msc Engineering in Extraction Metallurgy in Russia (2000 -2004). Thereafter, he completed his PhD in Extraction Metallurgy in 2008 at Moscow Institute of steel and Alloys. He worked as chief Metallurgist at Dtz- OZGeo Gold from 2008- 2009. In 2009 he joined University of Johannesburg as a lecturer till today. Currently , he is an Associate Professor of Mineral Processing. He is an active member of the Mineral Processing and Technology Research Centre. Linkedin
