Professor Momoniat’s research interests lay in several areas of applied mathematics in which differential equations play a role. In applications of thin film flow, Prof Momoniat has determined solutions for highly nonlinear and degenerate partial differential equations. Prof Momoniat has made innovative use of Lie group methods in combination with computational methods to determine solutions.
