Dr. Monicah has 23 years of management experience in institutions of higher education and Non-Governmental Organisations. She poses excellent skills in stakeholder engagement, grants administration and accountability, talent development, and organizational development. She has a background in Social Sciences, a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management in Education and a PhD in Public Administration and Management with a specialisation in Governance and Institutional Leadership. Her research interests are in Higher Education Management with a focus on administration of the teaching and learning processes and the governance agenda. Currently, she is a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at the Ali Mazrui Centre for Higher Education, University of Johannesburg.
