Qualifications: Master of Arts (African Languages) Overview/bio: Igneciah Pocia Thete , is an Assistant Lecturer at the Department of African Languages specializing with Sepedi (Methodology & Practicum), she has presented academic papers at various conferences, where she also chaired a session, and attended symposiums. Thete is an interim adjudicator for the UJ Sesotho sa Leboa Literary Awards. Thete has supervised several postgraduate (honours) students and co-supervisor (MA). Presented a paper at the 2023 IIE 7 th E-Symposium, the paper titled; Nurturing Northern Sotho Classroom by Developing Dialogue Using Learner Centred Strategies and Digital Tools. I attended and presented a co-authored paper at the Academy for Multilingualism for the March 2024 Conference in Clarens, hosted by the University of Free State, the paper titled: The Implementation of the Africanised Teaching and Learning Strategies in Basic Education School Curriculum.
