Dr Loice N Takaedza is an emerging researcher who completed her LLD degree at the University of Johannesburg in 2024. In 2025 she was appointed as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Centre for Banking Law, University of Johannesburg. She holds an LLB (cum laude) from the University of Venda and an LLM from North-West University Potchefstroom campus. She also obtained a short learning course in Money Laundering Control from the University of Johannesburg. Her research interests include anti-money laundering, combating financing of terrorism and combating proliferation financing, artificial intelligence as well as legal developments in financial technology (Fintech) and financial inclusion.
