Prof. Elliot Mbunge is a mentor, researcher and innovator specializing in Information Technology, holding a PhD from Durban University of Technology, South Africa. He supervises and lectures both undergraduate and postgraduate students, and guiding research in areas such as applied machine learning, information technology, information systems and healthcare optimization. His research focuses on health informatics, information technology, machine learning, digital technologies and ICT for development (ICT4D). Prof Mbunge has been collaborating with other scholars on international research initiatives funded by renowned organizations such as the Royal Academy of Engineering (RAE) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) among others.
