Brian Sibanda

Overview

Dr Brian Sibanda is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of English at the University of Johannesburg. He is a founding member of the South African Association for Academic Literacy Practitioners and an active member of the Africa Decolonial Research Network, where he contributes to advancing decoloniality as both an epistemic framework and a political-liberatory project. Dr. Sibanda’s primary research interests include decoloniality, decolonisation, language development and theories of liberation.
