Mr Thinus Fourie

Overview

Thinus Fourie holds an MSc in Plant Physiology from the Rand Afrikaans University (now University of Johannesburg, South Africa). He is appointed as the technical manager of the Department of Botany and Plant Biotechnology. His activities include, but are not limited to, preparation and demonstration of undergraduate practicals, logistical planning of the Botany 3B excursion, general technical support to all postgraduate students and researchers, as well as management and maintenance of the laboratories and greenhouses. Administrative duties include procurement, financial administration and liaison with several of the university’s support divisions.
