Qualifications MSc Microbiology (University of Fort Hare) BSc Microbiology (University of Buea) Teaching Activities Bacteriology and Virology (MCB02A2) Microbial diversity and Plant pathology (MCB02B2) Mr Godfred Tanih is currently doing his PhD in Biotechnology at the University of Johannesburg. From 2009 to 2016 he received his BSc and MSc degree in Microbiology from the University of Buea Cameroon and the University of Fort Hare South Africa, respectively. He has been with the University of Johannesburg from 2017 lecturing microbiology modules. His research interests include drug discovery of potentially bioactive compounds from medicinal plants, bacteria and fungi against resistant bacteria; molecular epidemiology and molecular pathogenesis of disease-causing bacteria.
